Oklahoma’s own Black History Month Film Festival is taking place February 21st, 2015 at the Oklahoma History Center and Cinemark Tinsletown. We are accepting entries for short films from experienced and emerging filmmakers. We have no restrictions on genre and consider all categories.
Genres include:
- Drama
- Action
- Science Fiction and Fantasy
- Horror
- Experimental
- Documentary
Submission Guidelines:
- Film maximum is 15 minutes
- Films should reflect aspects of Black/African-American culture in their content
- Submissions do not need to be by filmmakers of color but they should reflect content
- inclusive of the Black/ African experience including lead actors and actresses that are
- of Black/African-American descent.
- Films must be submitted via Vimeo or YouTube link to director@inclusioninart.com
- Please include the title, film length and genre with a completed application
- Please email any visuals, bio, trailers to director@inclusioninart.com
- Applicants can submit one film entry only
- Applicants will be notified by February 6th of their selection
