Emerge Mentorship Program: Artist 2024-25

EMERGE ARTIST:

Emerge is Inclusion In Art’s biennial art mentorship program.

The selected artist(s) will work towards creating a new body of work for a solo show at the end of the year. The artist(s) will receive constructive feedback on their artwork from Inclusion In Art’s distinguished board of directors, practicing artists and curators. The selected artist will receive guidance in various professional practices.

This program is open to any emerging Oklahoma artist who identifies as a person of color, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). The Emerge Artist Program requires a commitment between six to eight months. We define emerging artists as anyone who is in the early stages of their career in art, no matter their age. Artists working in large-scale art, sculptural, and installation work are encouraged to apply.

The chosen Emerge artist(s) will have an exhibition in a professional gallery space.
