Melissa Sue always dreamed of inventing the time machine. When she took her first film class with her famous Oscar Award-winning teacher Gray Frederickson (The Godfather, Apocalipse Now, Outsiders), she knew that filmmaking was going to be her love and career. Lopez discovered her time machine the first time she grabbed a film camera, and from that moment on she became entranced with the process of bringing histories and alternate realities alive. Producing, directing, writing, editing and cinematography are joy to her. She is passionate, driven, and with her hard work and focus she brings incredible stories alive. With her unique style of blurring the lines between fiction and nonfiction, she loves genre-bending, and creating works of art that engage the audience, whisking them away on a ride that broadens their minds and enriches their experiences.
